Who We Are

Our Story

We are an organisation and an approved group within the Catholic Church originating in Perth, Western Australia.

We seek to reach out to people in need, both locally and abroad, through prayer and charity projects.

Founded by Father Nicholas Nweke in 2006,
our work started as the Voice of Voiceless Ministry (VOVM), and in 2018 branched into a registered charity incorporated as Amurri Divine Mercy Foundation (ADMF).

VOVM continues as the spiritual side of our organisation through prayer, while ADMF manages the activities of our charitable projects.

Globally, we have completed several projects, under the commandership and inspiration of Chairman Frank Mallard, who passed away in 2019, we continue as an evolving chapter in the vision of Father Nicholas.

Current project:

Amurri Town Hospital, Nigeria specialising in maternal and child care.

Completed projects include:

Clean Water Project, bore building and filtration in Amurri town, Nigeria.

Donation of money and goods to leper colonies in Nigeria, and Vietnam.

Donation of goods to orphanages in Vietnam, and Philippines.

Donation of money for the purchase of 2 blocks of land in Burma to the 'Myanmar' orphanage.

Fr Nicholas Nweke

About Father Nic

Father Nicholas Nweke is a priest of Archdiocese of Perth. Fr Nicholas has worked in different parishes and presently the Parish priest of Our Lady Help of Christians in East Victoria Park.

He backed his Degrees in Philosophy and Theology respectively in Nigeria and his Scripture and morality studies at Notre Dame Fremantle, Western Australia. Additionally, a Licentiate Degree in Communication from Pontifical University of Holy Cross, Rome.

Founder of Voice of the Voiceless Ministry, Founder the Amurri Divine Mercy Foundation, and Member of Ecclesiastical Knights of the Equestrian Order of Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem. (KSC).

Tanja Mallard

About Tanja

Tanja has been a Director of Amurri Divine Mercy Foundation since June 2018. She has been also in the position of Secretary with Voice of the Voiceless Ministry since 2006.

Tanja has an extensive experience in administration and secretarial duties in various jobs she held in Croatia and in Australia. Before moving to Australia in 1997, Tanja worked with different charity groups during the war, such as American Refugee Committee and United Nations.

Dr Melanie Teresa Chan

About Dr Melanie

My name is Dr. Melanie Chan and I am currently a practising Dental Surgeon and Principal Dentist at Spencer Road Dental Care.

I graduated from UWA with a Bachelor of Dental Science BDSc. (Honours) in 2002, and have been working at the above mentioned dental practice hitherto.

I fully support the goals of ADMF in providing support to those in need in the community, especially in outreach dental care to the homeless, underprivileged and marginalised in our community. I look forward to be of service to our brothers and sisters in need, especially to those who are unable to access proper dental care in our community.

Dr Michael Nwokeiwu

About Dr Michael

Dr Michael Nwokeiwu is a Chartered Accountant & Registered Tax Agent in Australia. He is a member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia & New Zealand (ICAANZ); has B.Sc, & M.Sc degrees, Graduate Diploma in Accounting and a Doctorate (PhD) Degree in Business Administration from University of South Australia amongst other qualifications. He is a Nollywood actor and executive producer.

Michael is a director and founder of MUN Accountants & Business Advisers located in Cannington WA, and provides quality and personalised tax, accounting and business advisory services to small and Medium business including Self Managed Superannuation Funds. He is well vast in local, national and international accounting services.

He has served as board member to many communities and organisations for over 20 years in various capacities.

Dr Michael is an amiable supporter of humanity and always strives to contribute his quota wherever he serves. He loves his community and assists and supports well in community events. He has assisted in many charity organisations and very keen to actualise the objectives of ADMF.

Dr Charles Meribole

About Dr Charles

Dr Charles Meribole is a physician, medical educator, entrepreneur and administrator.

Charles holds post graduate qualifications and diplomas in Anesthesia, Skin Cancer Surgery, Injury Management and Women’s Health. Charles is also an adjunct senior lecturer at Curtin University Medical School.

Charles has been involved in many quality improvement projects in chronic pain, obesity, hypertension and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease in Australia, and has served as member of clinical council for Primary Health Care Ltd Australia.

Charles is an executive Director at Lagoon Medical Centre and Beeliar Diagnostic Imaging located in Yangebup, WA.

Prisca Chinwe Eboh

About Prisca

Prisca Eboh LLB, LLM, is a solicitor in Queensland and the founder and principal of PCE Lawyers (Townsville). Holding a Master of Laws, Prisca has several years of experience in legal practice in a wide range of legal areas for both individuals and corporations.

Prisca has also been involved in many community services. She is a former board member of the Townsville Intercultural Centre, and continues to provide legal advice and support to the African community as well as other multicultural communities.

Prisca is highly responsive and experienced in handling complex legal, business and migration matters, with a determination to get it right for her clients.

Adam Zydek

About Adam

Adam is the founder and school Principal of Divine Mercy Catholic College in Yangebup, a southern suburb of Perth, Western Australia.

Divine Mercy College is an independent co-educational school from primary to secondary school, established on 31 January 1996 on the feast of John the Baptist.

The school started with 36 students in 1996. It was founded by Adam Zydek, the current principal, his wife Irene Zydek, and a priest from Malta. It was originally located in Rivervale, Western Australia for 8 years but was moved to Yangebup in 2004. The school only started with $2,000 and was forced to close the primary and lower secondary school for a short period of time. A father from the school then began to look for a new location and the next few days found one in Yangebup. It was ranked the 25th best secondary school and the 128th best primary school in the state in 2013. It received an ICSEA score of 1012 (1000 being the average Australia wide).

Executive Members

ADMF relies on the providence and generosity of people of good will, and that includes our members.
Members may take on active roles under different portfolios in the foundation.
We always look to the encouragement of individuals, friends, and groups to realise our charitable projects.
